“I’m a social person who enjoys being in the company of others. I love listening to people, and feel good when I am doing something to help someone. I’m hardworking, reliable and discrete and will go that extra mile for my clients.”
Why Beauty Therapy?
“I joined the industry as I wanted to make a difference to how someone felt about themselves”.
What’s Isobel’s favourite treatment?
“I Love performing Facials. I can draw on my knowledge and customise a treatment and program for my customers.
It’s so rewarding when clients start to see the improvements and look forward to coming back.
Massage is so relaxing for both myself and my clients. There’s nothing more I like than to help clients experience an hour away from any emotional or physical problems caused by stress and see them leaving a little taller and lighter.
I enjoy the creativity of performing nail treatments and am happy that the client is proud to leave with their new nail design or colour.
For skin -Drink plenty of water and the minimum care is cleanse, tone and moisturise am with an SPF and in the evening with a suitable moisturiser & serum.
For relaxation – Make time for yourself, even if you only have an hour. Have a bath, a massage or apply a face mask.

Jenny says –
“Since having a family, a boy and a girl, I split my time between work and my children. I feel as a parent and a therapist it’s good to look after yourself and it’s important to have a work/life balance.”
Why Beauty Therapy?
I chose the beauty industry in the year 2000 as I wanted to do the Beauty course at Mid Kent College. I always enjoyed doing my friends hair, makeup and painting nails. I have great empathy with people and enjoy my work immensely.
My favourite treatments –
I love what I do, but if I had to choose a favourite treatment, I would say facials, nails and VPL, but I like the variety of treatments that we offer as it makes every day different and interesting.
With VPL you can see a real difference in the skin straight away and the hair removal program can be transformational. I have trained in all of the facial modalities that we offer which makes it easy for me to address skin problems and achieve amazing results.
Whether it’s a nail paint to finish your outfit or whether it’s to make u feel better about your skin/hair to give u confidence and peace of mind that it will get better.
I love that I can help my clients relax, unwind and talk about any problems they may have. There is nothing better than a client leaving feeling happier and relaxed knowing that they have had the very best treatment from me.
For health and much needed energy –
Start the day with a glass of lemon in fresh water to detox and get things moving.
Drink 2 litres of water a day, eat sensibly, do 20 mins exercise every day and take a multi vitamin.
For skin –
Cleanse, tone & moisturise with an spf (for daytime)and ramp up your skincare for nightime. Exfoliate at least twice a week to regenerate new ski cells and keep skin looking smooth.
For relaxation –
For those days that you need to unwind, have a massage!
Or, after a busy day, have a nice relaxing bubble bath with aromatherapy oils and candles before snuggling up with a blanket and watching a movie. The perfect night in my opinion!

“I have always had a firm interest in the beauty industry and although I was unsure whether I wanted to carry out any specific treatments before studying beauty therapy, once I had started studying the course, I loved everything so much that I knew I wanted to be a therapist that offered a variety of therapies and subsequently took every opportunity to push myself and learn as much as possible”.
What’s Charlotte’s favourite treatment?
“I enjoy a day that has a variety of therapies, however, my most favourable treatments are facials. We offer such a wide range of facials at the clinic so I am able to treat any skin concern presented to me. I love making a positive change to people and their skin”.
For skin – A consistent professional skin care routine with a daily SPF! I firmly believe in a healthy lifestyle and the importance of drinking plenty of water every day.
For relaxation– Activities such as yoga and Pilates or a Simple hot bubbly bath with some calming candles and relaxing music
Abi | Therapist – Dermalogica Expert – Level 4 Laser
Abi has been awarded Dermalogica Expert status, recognising her as one of the highest trained skin care professionals in the country. As a therapist Abi has completed on-going postgraduate education at the International Dermal Institute, training with the world’s leading professional skin care brand, Dermalogica.
To achieve this Expert status, Abi has completed a succession of specialist product, treatment and business workshops, and unique workshops which are offered only to the most skilled and knowledgeable therapists. Dermalogica awards and recognise their Experts as the best trained skin professionals in the industry.
Abi says –
“I am trustworthy, reliable and kind.”
Why Beauty Therapy?
“Growing up I always loved massage so when it came to choosing a college course, beauty seemed a natural option. It enabled me to learn many other treatments as well as massage. Seeing people walk away happy and feeling pampered is a great feeling.”
Abi’s favourite treatments –
“My favourite treatment is probably hot stone massage. I enjoy the feeling of warmth during the massage and feel good giving this style of massage to clients. Our hands and feet go through such a battering on a day to day basis that they deserve to be looked after.
Stress Therapy Massage -Everyone carries stress usually in their back. This can cause real tension in muscles, resulting in discomfort. A stress therapy massage is a great way to aid this. Working out the tension and knots within a muscle helps it to relax, releasing the build up of stress in the body. When someone comes in feeling tense and then leaves looking and feeling like their tension has melted away, then I’ve done a good job! It may take more than one session but it is so worth it. Sometimes you may not even realise you have tension there until you’ve had a massage.
Dermalogica Facials – I love love love facials. It is the perfect balance of relaxation and benefit to the skin. There is something wonderful about being able to help people with their skin concerns through a facial and home care. You can always see and feel a difference in the skin after a facial but, it also allows time to release stress. Stress is often a big factor in most skin concerns, so releasing that during a facial is all part of aiding the skin. Anyone coming to me for a facial should feel that their concerns are actively being addressed, whilst also coming out feeling like they are walking on air because they are so relaxed.
Environ Facials – These are advanced facials that focus on penetrating active ingredients deep into the skin. Great facial, especially for those with concerns about ageing. Although a relaxing facial, the focus is really on the ingredients and making sure they go deep. These facials work well along with Environ homecare products. Again you should notice a difference after one facial. After this faical your skin should feel plumped up and looked after.
Abi’s tips –
for skin –
Regular Exfoliation is so important. I particularly love Dermalogica’s Daily Superfoliant for my face as it makes my skin look brighter and for super smooth skin on my body, the Dermalogica buffing cloth. Also, I can’t stress enough the importance of wearing an SPF all year round to prevent premature ageing.
For relaxation –
A nice hot bath with lovely fragrant candles and the lights turned down. Or a full body massage as it gives a lovely feeling of relaxation not just during the treatment but the sense of wellbeing it creates for some time after is special.
Robyn | Therapist -Dermalogica Expert – Level 4 Laser

Robyn studied for her BTech National in Beauty Therapy Sciences and then went on to gain a further Level 3 Qualification in Holistic therapies at Canterbury College.
Reflexology, Nutrition, Eyelash Extensions, Lash Lifting and deep tissue massage are just some of her skills.
Ula | Therapist
I’m a friendly, but professional, person who enjoys listening to people. If I make you laugh, I know I have not only provided you with an amazing treatment, but I’ve also given you an experience to remember.
Being quite an artistic person who strives for perfection, I had been drawn to the beauty industry since I was a teenager. I started off as a makeup artist, but after doing make-up for 7 years, I found that I wanted to expand my knowledge, which is why I went to college to complete my Beauty Sciences qualification.
My passion is for electrical treatments like CACI ( non surgical face lifting) and Lipo (our slimming ant toning tratment). We are constantly updating our technology in the salon, and being able to visibly see the change in people’s skin or body is what makes me enjoy my job the most. I love massage! It not only relaxes you physically but mentally too and can leave you with an incredible feeling of wellbeing.
Having a day for yourself can be hard, but try to spare yourself a couple of hours a week to have a relaxing treatment or simply go for a swim. It’s not only your body, but your mind also needs a break from work and stress.
It’s important to take care of your skin but don’t forget your body too. Make sure you exfoliate your body at least once a week to keep it nice and smooth. Moisturise daily with an SPF and drinking plenty of water will help with skin hydration and overall wellbeing.
I can’t wait to be joining our other team members by enrolling on the Dermalogic Expert program in January 2019, which will enable me to offer even more advanced facial treatments.
Claudia | Assistant Manager
Claudia says –
“I’m very warm, welcoming and friendly. Being a very sociable person, I knew I wouldn’t like being in an office. I have an artistic flare so felt that the beauty industry would be perfect for me. Once qualified I worked for Harrods for a number of years before having my two girls. After having the children, I still wanted to be in the industry but part time, so I knew this would be the perfect job for me.“
For skin –
I have always liked trying different products, but since joining the team, I love Dermalogica. I could see an instant change (and I’ve tried many brands.) I’ve learnt how important it is to make sure you cleanse and remove your makeup every day 😆
For relaxation –
Being a busy mum it’s easy to forget to make time for yourself but even if it’s once a month, have a facial or massage and secure that all important ‘you time’.
